So I went for a drink up at a friend's house on Friday and was sitting with some old mates when the talk turned to natural hair...this was cos all three of us had natural hair....anyway I asked them if they knew any good natural hair salons in Accra and I found out about two, one in Dansoman and the other in Osu.
Yesterday I decided to try the one in osu since it is closer and I loved it. For the first time since I came back to Ghana and started going to salons to fix my hair, my hair was not blow-dried b4 cornrowed. I liked the general vibe there and the results are great. Will post pictures later.
Anyway the salon is just a tiny one (nothing fancy at all) at the Danquah Circle in Osu between Flash Foto studio and NIB bank (I think). Just ask for mama when u walk a bit from flash foto towards the bank...salon is near a stand selling African print clothes.
